I am installing windows xp home edition sp2 and it is a the installing windows stage and says it has 39 minutes to complete. It has been saying this for a while. How do I know if it is stuck or not?

I had a similar problem. Make sure you only have the necessary things plugged in the computer. Unplug everything except the mouse and keyboard and monitor and power of course .
